School groups are cordially invited to attend the 19th annual University of New Hampshire Band Extravaganza. This exciting concert will feature the UNH Wind Symphony and the Wildcat Marching Band in the Johnson Theater. We will be performing three matinees for school groups and would like to encourage you to plan a field trip with your music students. Don't miss out!
Do you want to be a part of one of the most spirited organizations on campus? Do you want to be a vital part of UNH sporting events? Become a member of the Beast of the East Pep Band! New members are always welcome to join second semester.
You will sign up for a specified number of games at the first rehearsal (usually one fewer than half) each semester. You can get a sub if you can't make an assigned game. Attending assigned games, volunteering at other games, and subbing for other players earn you points toward post-season travel.
On Sunday, August 26th, a great article about the University of New Hampshire Wildcat Marching Band appeared on the front page of Foster's Sunday Citizen. The online version also includes video from the first marching rehearsal and from uniform fittings. Check it out!

Placement auditions for the UNH Wildcat Marching Band drumline battery will be held in July. As it has been in the past, both veterans and new members are expected to audition. This is for part placement only. No one will be cut. Front Ensemble members do not need to audition at this time.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, July 22nd, starting at noon. Following auditions, we will also have a mini-clinic, to give everyone a chance to play together for the first time. This will last approximately an hour. While the clinic is optional, we do hope you'll plan to stick around and make a day of your visit. It will also be a great chance to meet people.
